Better Late than Never!

Hey Yall! Today was a great day and as I reflect on how I did exercise and eating wise I did GREAT! I mean I'm really proud of the way the last two weeks I just made basic good food decisions. I only had one unexpected occurrence and I dealt with it ,made a choice on how I would eat and moved on.
This is how I want to eat the rest of my life KWIM? Just making decent food choices because I know it's the thing to do. I don't want to be a slave to calorie counting, I don't want to spend the rest of my life going to a meeting to step on someones scale, I most definitely don't want to get my food sent to me in the mail! To anyone that just so happens to be reading this......if you're doing any of these things because it's right for YOU,please don't take offense. I wish you much success in the way you choose to lose your weight. It's just not the way I want to go about things. In the end regardless of the way we choose to lose our weight( as long as it's safe!) we're all striving for the same goal. To be healthy. So cheers for change!

I took new pics  for the album, not much of an update in that arena......YET! But I chose a pair of jeans I'm going to use for my weekly updates. This stomach of mine is a hot mess I'll tell you that!

Next week I'll make sure to wear a more form fitting( Oh No!) shirt so that it's easier to see progress in the pics. I ALWAYS wear shirts that come down far enough to cover my stomach so when I threw on something to have my sister take the pics, SHE was the one to say "ummm I don't think you should be wearing that shirt for the pics ....it's covering your fat!" LOL so I pulled it up to show yall in all it's unglory! It's late here so I hope everyone is having a safe weekend,Michelle

Relaxation!

Hey Yall! Well it's 12.07 pm here and you know what? I'm going to lay down for bit of a snooze! I woke up earlier than I wanted to on my day off, drank 2 cups of coffee,had a breakfast shake and read some blogs.....I'm officially pooped! Daily Bend!

Hey everyone! Well I made it through my work lunch and walked away with my pride. I had 2 slices and some cantaloupe. Hey I could have just had one slice but for someone whose norm is a minimum of 3 with a PROBABILITY of 4........ walking away at 2 was on the money!

So while mall walking I did a few extra laps to make up for it in addition to my floor exercises and stretches.Hope everyone had a great day.Michelle

The Unexpected


Oh Goodness! So as I said in an earlier blog I don't want to eat by a plan........no offense to anyone who does! But I just want to hang loose and make the good decisions I KNOW how to make. So today is an obstacle day and I've had to do some quick planning!

We have a work meeting today and my sweet co-worker ordered in pizza for the meeting. YIKES I'm going to have some and keep it moving.(literally!) Instead of my more relaxed workout today I'll pick up the pace a bit to allow myself a bit more room. It's 11:30 am right now and all I've eaten thus far is my morning shake which 230 calories and that's it. Not going to beat myself up over it or have regrets. I'll just have a light salad for dinner later, Have a great day,Michelle

Dreary Day :(

Acck! What a yucky,gross day it is here! It looks like it wants to rain which is no help to me because I already feel sleepy as heck. I worked out but even that wasn't enough for me to bypass the weather and not feel sleepy!
I ate ok yesterday,no slip ups to report and today is so far so good.
I decided I'm going to set out  some goals jeans. I have TONS of jeans in various sizes I simply can't get in so I'm going to take a few out in different sizes and use those as a goal to work towards. Photies coming soon!

The Daily Bend X 2 !

Ok so today I decided I wasn't going to blog AT ALL until I had my "Daily Bend"(s) out of the way. I had company yesterday so it got in the way of my mini workout yesterday but you know what? NOT a big deal! I just had to make it up today,which I was more than happy to do!
I think often times when your're trying to lose weight and change your eating habits,if ONE thing doesn't go as planned people chuck it and go really off path.That's the wrong attitude to take everyone! Roll with the punches a little more.

If something comes up and I need to put off my exercise for the day.I'll just do more the next day. It's not a reason to stop it all together.

When it comes to meals if I eat something I really could have done without.......it's no reason to go totally off track. Just eat good the rest of my meals. Simple as that. Have a great day,Michelle

Drinks and More

Hey Yall! So yesterday up until I got off work my eating was really good. I exercised the whole bit. Then a friend of mine called with word that his brother had passed away.So he came by and brought drinks. We sat around most of the evening,laughing and talking about memories he had of his brother. And of course DRINKING.

Later in the night I was like oh man......I may have really ****ed up! But all in all I didn't eat bad for the day I ate a few chicken wings and some low fat pretzels while we were sitting around. When I weighed myself this morning I was down another 1.5lbs!whooo-hoooo! Hopefully it will stay gone but hey I'll take it! I do occasionally like to go out and have drinks but I think the only drinks I need to avoid are those sweet fruity drinks..........(basically all the ones I like!)  For the sake of weight I don't mind resorting to rum and diet cokes!

I'll check in later with my Daily Bend. It's floor exercises for me today!

Beautiful Day!

Hey Yall! It's another beautiful,sunny day in Anchorage,Ak. So I was a bit inspired to get my workout done early and have it out of the way.In my rush to leave for work this morning I left the house without my breakfast shake! I'm totally not doing any liquid type of diet but I'm finding those to be really easy and right up my alley in the morning because I don't have time for any type of sit down breakfast.
I have to get my little ones ready as well as myself. I know it may be lazy.........but I REALLY don't want to wake up any earlier to make time for it KWIM?
So I just chill these in the fridge and grab one on my way out the door and drink it on my drive to work. In case anyone is interested I'm drinking the ones they sell at Costco. A huge 24 or 28? pack they sell for I think it was $14.50
I have some fruit here at work that I'll have as a snack in a bit and am going to plan the rest of my day food wise. Though I think I'm going to keep it pretty light with salads and veggies with a bit of meat for the rest of the day.

The Daily Bend!

Well today I got these big buns up and moving early today! I worked out on the treadmill today for 30 minutes today. Hey, it aint much but it's a start! Though truth be told the longest I aspire to walk on a treadmill is no longer than an hour. So I'll slowly add time until I'm at that level. Also since I'm just starting my speed was only at 3 which I'll also increase as my endurance builds.
